Visita Iglesia - Churches in the Philippines - Mindanao

As Catholics all over the country observe the Lenten Season, the Visita Iglesia is one important activity wherein they have to visit at least seven churches - usually done during Holy Thursday.

For me, visitng these churches is not only about spiritual devotion but also discovering rich architectural and cultural history dating back a few hundred years ago.
